The inspiration for my work: I was born in Mexico and my family moved to Los Angeles when I was a child, I went to Mexico every year to visit family and it was there during those travels that I discovered Dia De Los Muertos, Frida Kahlo and traditions like the Loteria Game. I always loved the colors and the festive celebrations of Mexico so that is why my work reflects the aspects of my childhood and traditions of Mexico.
